Wall Art Print - Breakfast at Misool
US$50.00

This photo was captured just before breakfast time at Misool Resort in October 2025, when a green sea turtle swam into the bay just in front of the dining area.

Misool Resort’s house reef is famous for many things, and the green turtles that come to feed on the seagrass beds at high tides are one of them. Coincidentally, this school of scads had also taken up residence on the house reef just a few weeks before our group’s arrival. While the scads schooled a little way away from where the turtles fed, the incoming turtles would have to swim through this mass of fish in order to get to their lovely seagrass.

This photo was awarded Third Place in the Wide Angle category of the Ocean Art Underwater Photo Competition in January of 2026.

Wall Art Print - Mangrove Magic
US$50.00

This photo was captured in the mangroves of the northern parts of Raja Ampat in 2017.

Unlike most mangrove systems around the world that tend to grow out of muddy substrates where visibility is severely limited, these mangroves grow right out of the reef with clear blue water. These mangroves are arguably some of the most unique snorkeling sites in the world.

This photo was awarded First Place in the World Oceans Day Photo Competition and was a part of a global exhibition with a narrative that underlines the importance of the ocean’s health.

Wall Art Print - Eye to Eye
US$50.00

This photo was captured in February 2015 while snorkeling on a very unassuming reef, largely composed of sand and mixed corals.

While sites like this (typically referred to as muck sites) aren’t the most visually stimulating at first glance, they do offer the unique opportunity to find critters such as seahorses! Seahorses don’t seem to live on your classic tropical coral reef. For whatever reason, they tend to dwell in areas where there is a mix of sand, sponges, and corals.

Wall Art Print - Floating Above the Clouds
US$50.00

This photo was captured around the Fam Islands while on tour in Raja Ampat in late 2025. This particular site is known as Fam Wall or Keruwo Channel, and is one of the most famous snorkeling sites in all of Raja Amat.

Wall Art Print - Swim Through
US$50.00

This photo was also captured around the Fam Islands on a site called Batu Rufus back in 2014.

At this point in time, very few people had snorkeled this site as it had only just been discovered. From time to time, a school of batfish would collect around the stunning window or swim through framed by magnificent layers of sea fans.

While batfish aren’t particularly shy, when approached, they tend to shy away. In order to get them to come closer, you must swim away from them slowly, at which point they’ll follow you like curious puppies. When you’re certain they’re right behind you, turn slowly and then capture  your image!
